This international collaboration allows us to organize scientific events, such as the European Fluid Mechanics Conference or the Turbulent Modeling in Engineering Conference, to be part of the steering committee of the ERCOFTAC Special Interest Group on three-dimensional wakes and to collaborate with the American Physical Society or the International Conference on Multiphase Flows, among others.<\/p><p>The group is part of the Interuniversity Institute of the Earth System in Andalusia (UGR-UCO-UJA) and has several experimental rooms both at the University of Ja\u00e9n (Ja\u00e9n and Linares campuses) and at the University of Granada (at the Granada headquarters of the Interuniversity Institute of the Earth System in Andalusia). These experimental rooms are equipped with first level scientific instrumentation for the study of Fluid Mechanics.
