In addition, the group has numerous national and international collaborators, including: the University Carlos III of Madrid, the University of Seville, the University of Malaga, the University Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona, the University of California-San Diego (USA), the Institute of Fluid Mechanics of Toulouse (France), the University of Liverpool (UK), the School of Physics and Industrial Chemistry of Paris (France), ENSTA-Paris (France). This international collaboration allows us to organize scientific events, such as the European Fluid Mechanics Conference or the Turbulent Modeling in Engineering Conference, to be part of the steering committee of the ERCOFTAC Special Interest Group on three-dimensional wakes and to collaborate with the American Physical Society or the International Conference on Multiphase Flows, among others.

The group is part of the Interuniversity Institute of the Earth System in Andalusia (UGR-UCO-UJA) and has several experimental rooms both at the University of Jaén (Jaén and Linares campuses) and at the University of Granada (at the Granada headquarters of the Interuniversity Institute of the Earth System in Andalusia). These experimental rooms are equipped with first level scientific instrumentation for the study of Fluid Mechanics. There are also several servers and scientific computing clusters as well as access to different large-scale computing centers.

The group works internationally with other groups, which allows us to compare results and organize or participate in scientific events, such as the European Conference on Fluid Mechanics or the Turbulent Modeling in Engineering Conference, as well as collaborating with the American Physical Society or the International Conference on Multiphase Flows, among others".
